FDA Approval

Orforglipron, developed by Eli Lilly under development code LY3502970, received FDA approval on April 1, 2026 under the brand name Foundayo, for adults with obesity, or overweight with at least one weight-related medical problem. It is the first oral GLP-1 pill approved with no food or water restrictions.

Regulatory and Legal Status

Orforglipron is prescription-only and FDA-approved as of April 2026. It is a legitimate, approved pharmaceutical and should only be obtained through a licensed prescriber and pharmacy — not through unregulated research-chemical channels, regardless of how it may be marketed there.
