Infusion-Related Effects

The most commonly reported side effects are infusion-related — flushing, mild chest or abdominal tightness, cramping, or nausea, especially when IV NAD+ is administered too quickly. These typically resolve by slowing the infusion rate. Injectable/subcutaneous forms can cause local injection-site irritation. Long-term safety data at the doses used in wellness clinics remains limited.
