hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Side Effects and Safety
Reported hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) side effects, contraindications, and safety signals.
Estrogen-Related Effects at Higher Doses
Because raising testosterone via hCG also increases aromatization to estradiol, higher doses can cause estrogen-related effects (water retention, gynecomastia sensitivity) — sometimes managed with an aromatase inhibitor like anastrozole. Injection-site irritation and mood changes are also reported. Hormone-sensitive cancers and precocious puberty are contraindications.
Contraindications
- pregnancy
