hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Dosage and Protocols
hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) dosage protocols reported in published research, plus reconstitution and storage.
TRT-Adjacent Dosing
TRT-adjacent protocols commonly dose hCG at 250–500 IU subcutaneous, 2-3 times weekly — lower and more frequent than the larger doses used for fertility-induction protocols, which are prescriber-directed and higher.
Reported protocol doses
Standard dose250–500 IU
Frequency2–3x weekly
Routessubcutaneous, intramuscular
Reconstitution
A 5000mg vial with 5mL of bacteriostatic water is the pairing reported most often. 5,000 IU vial + 5mL bacteriostatic water = 1000 IU/mL. A 250 IU dose is 0.25mL (25 units on an insulin syringe).
Work out your own concentration with the reconstitution calculator.
Doses shown are those reported in published research, not a recommendation.
