DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) Pharmacokinetics
DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) half-life, absorption, routes of administration, and clearance.
Extremely Short Half-Life
DSIP has a documented human plasma half-life of approximately 7-8 minutes. In vitro stability is even shorter — about 15 minutes — due to a specific aminopeptidase-like enzyme that rapidly degrades it. This very short half-life is part of why it's dosed shortly before the sleep window it's intended to influence.
