CJC-1295 (no-DAC), also called Mod GRF 1-29, has an elimination half-life of roughly ~30 minutes. The half-life is the time it takes for blood levels to fall by half, and it's the single biggest driver of how often you dose. Without the DAC albumin anchor the peptide produces a short, sharp GH pulse and clears fast, which is why the typical schedule is 100–300 mcg, 1-3x daily, often timed before bed or around training to ride the natural GH pulse. This is the opposite trade-off from the DAC form's week-long elevation.
Administration & Absorption
CJC-1295 (DAC) is administered by subcutaneous injection (into the fat layer just under the skin). The primary route is subcutaneous. Subcutaneous delivery is absorbed steadily from the fat depot, giving smoother peaks than intramuscular dosing. Whichever route you use, rotate sites and follow sterile technique.
Reconstitution & Handling
CJC-1295 (DAC) ships as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder that you reconstitute before use — a common starting point is a 2 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. Add the water slowly down the vial wall, swirl (don't shake), and let it fully dissolve. Reconstituted peptide is refrigerated and used within its stability window; unmixed powder keeps far longer when stored cold and dark. Onset & Clearance
Because of its ~30 minute half-life, CJC-1295 (no-DAC) acts within minutes and is essentially cleared within a few hours of each dose.
