Milder Profile Than Melanotan II
Because it doesn't activate MC3R/MC4R, Melanotan I lacks the nausea, flushing, and spontaneous erection side effects commonly reported with Melanotan II. Implant-site reactions and headache are the most commonly reported effects in the Scenesse trial program. Active malignancy is a precautionary contraindication given the melanocyte-stimulating mechanism.
