BPC-157
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid partial sequence of body protection compound found in gastric juice. It is widely used in recovery protocols for its reported effects on tendon, ligament, muscle, and gut-lining repair. Mechanistically it is associated with upregulation of growth factor receptors and promotion of angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation), which supports tissue healing. It is frequently stacked with TB-500 for synergistic recovery and is a cornerstone of the healing-focused peptide protocol. Human clinical data is limited; most evidence is preclinical.
TB-500
TB-500 is a synthetic version of the active region of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring protein involved in cell migration, blood vessel formation, and tissue repair. It works systemically rather than locally, making it popular for whole-body recovery, muscle and tendon healing, and reducing stiffness. It upregulates actin, a protein central to cell movement and wound healing. TB-500 is most commonly paired with BPC-157 in healing blocks, where the two are seen as complementary — BPC-157 acting more locally and TB-500 systemically. Most evidence is preclinical or anecdotal.
